I can only hope. Once they have a fix, They will start banning people. Till then they can monitor these accounts and apply fixes and test to see if they can track them better.

Some people need to get their sarcasm detector checked out.
I'm actually interested in knowing how the bot works.
Like, on a technical level. What do they abuse in the game code that allows them to teleport, and that sort of stuff.
I mean like, it's obviously something wrong, but the fact that this bot allows that to happen fascinates me.
Most often, it's based on a positioning packet. E.g., the server and the client have to communicate on where your character is located; as you move (client-side), the server changes your pointer (server-side). The hacks usually abuse this by making you "move" to some specific position instantly, and the server just accepts it. IIRC in WoW, they implemented a "check" system that prevented the server from moving you any further in a single jump than you could have gone via normal travel means, but I could be wrong.

This is pretty much what Ragnarok Online did (and that game is pretty old) That check had its side effects though. For a time, if you were hit by two knockbacks in rapid succession the server would have a bit of trouble guessing your correct position and disconnect you for "speed-hacking"Most often, it's based on a positioning packet. I have seen the teleporting bots in GW2 aswell, reported them..came back 3 weeks later, still the ssame bot farming.
Same will be in FFXIV.
It is by now as far as the bots are under the map, porting from node to node.
On top of that, whole FCs of botters are farming a large area, basically barring kills for everyone else.
Sorry to say it SE, but this killed the game for me and on top of that: REALLY? I have to go to the forums, wade trough it to find your special force to present evidence of a botter?
You Did the same mistake in 1.0 and apparantly didnt learn from it.
For the things like crystals, that gatherers can get easily. I think each server should just find a few players who they know are legit. And if you really need to buy those things only buy from their retainers. If every one did this, and the players sellin under cut the bots. I think we could make a huge dent in the bots operations.
this is quite horrible, shows how exploitative the game can be... sigh.
