Just logged on in the main city near market board 5 min. only one pm about gil... maybe today was another ban hammer day...

the ban hammer is everyday, everyday I blacklist 2-3 or 1 RMT, and the next day I can remove them from the list and never see that nick again but the new nick

Well they aren't banning now, but probably those who use the bot are getting flagged somehow, and in the future their accounts MIGHT (hopefully) get banned.

So if you're serious about your account I would strongly advise you to not use it. Common sense I know, but still.

as I said above, those acc got ban everyday, so yes what you say is false, cos those acc got ban within 24h after report. I once meet them at thanalan right outside uldah at mining zone lvl 10, after report I dont see them anymore the next day and until now, the same as every other zone where ppl spot em and report

Anyone not new to the internets knows what you said is false.

They have been banning gilsellers left and right, and RMT is considered cheating. third party devices like bots also are considered cheats under the EULA. So by all means, use the bots if you don't mind getting banned.

Imagine you're using the bot and someone takes a screenshot of you warping around or records you, then reports you and includes proof. You might not get banned now but surely you will get banned in the future.

It's how it works in all MMOs...

Pretty sure Salvage Bans was a 1 warning (We know it exists, don't do it, we're watching you) and then straight up banned, no 3 strikes.

What was more annoying in FFXI was the packet sniffing claim bot :P made the teleport hack look like a walk in the park!

Almost all MMOs do bans in batches. usually the day after subscription is charged.

These bots arent just being used for gathering anymore either. Earlier i was just south of Camp Dragonhead where the ornary things spawn that drop fleece and there was a Jeska Silverwind that was instantly teleing between mobs. It would kill a mob and instantly spawn 10 yalms away at a new mob. I really hope SE is PLANNING ON DOING SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.... HOPEFULLY SOONER RATHER THEN LATER... This is kinda breaking the economy and it will be a disaster if it keeps up.

if you use it know it its a hack and get banned don't come in forums complaining nobody wants to hear it, just because the bots do it or some moron does it does not mean you have to and does not mean its ok!

report the hackers/bots keep reporting them they will be banned don't for one sec think its legit to do what they are doing and to those buying lightning ,wind,water and other shards/crystals on market stop farm them yourself stop feeding the RMT'S Your money don't support the hackers!
