90k errors every hour and a half.

Hey there,

just thought I would post this in a last ditch to find a solution to this problem. Every hour to an hour and a half, since the early access phase, I get a 90k error. I don't know why I get nearly constant disconnects when my partner never gets DC-ed.

I don't think it can be our ISP because we both are connected to the same router, neither of us have a wireless connection to the router, and we already tried switching ethernet cables. His game never gets a 90k error; sadly, I get them so frequently, I can never use the duty finder without queuing with a healer.

There must be something in my system that is causing the problem, here is my system info:

do both of you run norton360? being the process hog norton is it could be tipping the balance. also you are using vista which is also a process hog and a security nutbar OS could be a setting in security is doing something too.

We both run norton360 in the background, we both play on a vista OS. He plays on a 32 bit vista and I play on a 64 bit vista. I will try turning off norton when I play next, I will also check out of my security settings for vista. I hope that you are right, nothing like a 90k when a fate is about to end XD.

I would also like to add that the 90k is indiscriminate of what I am doing in game, at least it seems that way. I could be in a graphics intensive fate, killing dungeon trash or just sitting in some random zone talking to a friend and the 90k dc will still happen every hour or so.

Hiya gang,
There lots of people having 90k issues, myself included.
Although not everyone will have the same cause, a growing number of us are currently of a mind that there is something going on SE side that has been causing lag/90ks for many players.

If you like, have a look at the thread I've linked below, and add your voice to it as well. Maybe with enough rumbling and gathered information in one spot we can at least illicit some kind of acknowledgement from SE that there yet remains a game stopping connectivity problem that we users can't fix ourselves.

I know they are busy but surely they can throw us that figurative bone.

I'm sorry I don't have suggestions for a fix, (believe me if I did, I'd be in game!) but at least I can invite you over so we can feel our pain together

Just wanted to give a quick update, disabling Norton while I play has helped greatly, No DCs at all last night. Thanks for the tip.
