We're a mature group of laid back people that each have their own agenda within the game(s) we play. We're different ages, with responsibilities like jobs and families that eat up the free time, so we mainly just follow our own paths as to what fun is while having the backing of a cool group of people to chat with and do things inside the Free Company.

We stand by the philosophy that you get what you give when it comes to the FC, so gotta keep that in mind. If you're asking for help alot but always willing to help others, we got your back and willing to scratch it, but if you show up constantly trying to get people to do things and don't help back... Eh, might want to watch that back. Never know when a Tonberry might be lurking...

Goals

#1 is to have fun
#2 is to make new friends in and possibly out of game
#3 is to keep drama as low as possible, because we're too old for that stuff and violates #1
#4 if there's enough interest, "I" would like to see us field a possible PvP group in the Den from time to time

A friendly bump, as we're still looking for some quality people to fill out our ranks, as the free trials are wearing out now for the first wave of players, and possibly leaving a few people stranded in once large groups or without friends.

Thanks to this announcement, we've actually had a few people from off server put in applications, so if you're eyeballing Ultros during your free transfer period, feel free to look us over. We're not aiming to be a massive group, we want to invest into our members and help one another.

Blast from the past, but the Shadowbolts are back in action and looking to get back into the game after an extended break. We plan to stay on the smaller side this time around, and looking for active people that like to play casually whilst doing group content from time to time, with minimal drama involved.

For the moment, expected activity will probably be around 5 PM EST - 2 AM EST, since college / work are wondeful time eaters in their own rights. I personally am hoping to maybe run a dungeon a night with people, or a CT, to cozily work towards more currency and gear to utilize, while increasing synergy with the members of the FC. Why throw yourself to the wolves in Duty Finder pugs, when you can forge bonds of friendship with Free Company members?

Just a quick bump and further explanation on what the Shadowbolts currently has to offer.

We're rank five with less than ten members. Our overall goal is to not have more than thirty so that no one feels lost in the crowd. 500+ member companies and shells exist and we welcome you to seek one of those, if that's more your speed.

We're keeping that XP boost up for the newer members. Be you from the PS4 beta and launch or someone grinding up your first few jobs, We want to help you spend less time grinding and more time enjoying the story. At our rank, we can only buy the 5% boost. When we unlock the next few ranks, we will instead activate the higher tier boosts.

We are looking into guild housing, and plan to pin down a medium lot. Our guild's overall income and bank doesn't bode well for this to be a goal soon reached. Me and Tony will continue to pound away at it with our Smiting hammers until completion, however. [cont]

We have a website, A logo, a motto, a mascot, and we most certainly exist.

This time around the site isn't mandatory, and will be mostly a guild news blog. All big long winded guild events will likely be linked to said site.

Finally, Me and Tony fill the roles most demanded in parties. If you're struggling to find a party that'll respect you and get the job done, then we're going to try and be there for you.

It isn't guaranteed that either of us will be online or available to join, but that's why we made this FC: To circumvent the Duty Finder and play with people we regard as friends.

Giving a friendly bump, as we've completed building our own FC house that hosts several amenities to make your life much easier in Eorzea, all in part due to the amazing members we have in our FC for helping this most worthy of causes.

Some groups use their houses as personal housing fixes, while others use them to flaunt their wealth to the rest of the playerbase, while we here at the Shadowbolts have turned this former bastion of vanity into a capable HQ that shall meet the need of our members. Speaking of members, we always welcome folk keep things fun and exciting, so if you're bored of your current FC now that the patch has settled in, or you're fresh from the PS4 launch, then feel free to shoot a /tell to me or Cibriel Haibane ingame, or submit an application to our FC.

Due to focusing on a core group of regular players within our FC and gearing people up whilst working on our synergy, we're looking to expand our active "endgame" group so that we can begin to branch out into more organized content. To facilitate this growth of the group, we've got our website back up, complete with TS3 to help keep things running smoothly during events.

We're mostly looking for DPS at the moment at level 50 to help fill in the missing slots for our group, so we can begin to run EX Primals, and consider working into Coil. Gear quality doesn't matter, as we'll help you get a Relic and various gear through CT and some old fashion dungeon grinding.

We're also in the market of course for additional tanks and healers at level 50 for higher end content, though it's preferable they have the option to fill a DPS role as well for the above mentioned core group to help cover roles as needed.

Another persistant bump letting people know we're still recruiting.

Our core members are currently focused on leveling and gearing various jobs for dexterity in groups, but DPS is what is most sought after.
