IDK, If you think more than a meaningless handful people will stop botting if something becomes more "fun" you're rather naive. Most of them don't bot cause of lack of entertainment value, they bot cause its easier and allows you to wrack up mindless gil while AFK, working, or something else. Most of those bots are likely RMT Anyway and i can guarantee you they have no interest in the act of mining fun or otherwise.

Plus there's only so many ways to make Swinging a pickaxe at a Point for an item fun. I mean, You got any ideas? Cause I can't think of sh*t to make Mining "fun". I mean by mining itself is just a sh*tty job to have IRL or in a game. I mean, Even Minecraft gets boring after a while. So unless anyones going to start spitballing ideas to make swinging a pickaxe against a rock surface fun I say stop saying they need to make it fun.

Idk, I do have a feeling that they could at least make mining/gathering more interesting by having a better set of skills that require more thinking like how crafting does it, instead of spamming clicks & rely soly on %.

And fishing can absolutely be more fun since there're a lot of fishing games out there to compare with... lol

Gathering and crafting are entirely optional activities. They're supposed to be enjoyable. If you don't enjoy them, don't do them.
It's sickening that SE continues to turn a blind eye to exploiting and botting, and more so that you have some people condoning it.

I just skimmed over the last 4 pages but are you guys seriously attacking a guy suggesting to make gathering not boring ass chore? Will people still bot like gil sellers? yes...But there is still people using the bots that are "legit" players. This forum is reminding me so bad of the swotr forums where anyone suggest a part of the game is not fun and to eat whatever is served to you on a plate is attacked. It's starting to make me a bit nervous for another Tortanic.

No what people are trying to tell him is that it won't STOP botting as people who bot will bot regardless. Some have even agreeded that gathering could be more fun, but yet again... That won't stop botting.
