Please do not use the term "Jap" its racially insensitive.Well i am not talking about the "we like your idea and we will pass it on to the dev team"
There is plenty of that but when the dev post something or answer something it is mostly on the jap forums and then a community rep will copy/paste the translation to the NA forums.
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
I am bored with game too. But I am keeping it installed. It just needs few more patches, PS3 release and it might be ok. I still have hope. Yes, it takes too much time. Half year at least.
im bored as hell too, crafting feels like an endless grind.
If only we could make furnitures etc, redecorating my "MH" (as an example), that would keep me busy for a looong time.
But nooooo..... dont gives us a house to live in ; ;
Hell even some of my ls members are living in cardboard boxes in uldas backstreets...
Wth is wrong with you SE??? Give us proper homes!
I used to be Noomy...then i took shiva's Hail Storm to my knee...

I don't care much for houses... i know a lot of you guys want it because you come from FFXI but honestly i just want something fun to do.im bored as hell too, crafting feels like an endless grind.

I want to be able to keep myself busy and have a blast at the same time. I don't want to be forced into crafting which is awful imo. I was never motivated to craft in other mmos but SE found a even better way to make crafting a nightmare. It already felt like work but in FFXIV crafting feels like real life work.... I thought we played mmo to escape real life and get a bit of fantasy and fun.
I want to be able to pick a couple of FUN quests that will reward me with good items and exp points. I want these quests to eventually take me to new places. I want to party up with people and go on an adventure, go in a dungeon and fight a huge boss and feel a sense of accomplishment at the end.
I dont want running around to figure out what the hell can i do to pass time. I dont want to grind, i dont want to spend hours looking for a party, i dont want LS to be my only way to ever team up with someone. I dont want to repeat the same levequest over and over or the same behest over and over. I dont want to be in the same damn city, area, a month after i started my character. I dont want to be forced into leveling a job i have absolutely no interest into just because the dev felt like thats the way i should play the game. I dont want the dev telling me i need to stop playing for a week because i reached 8h with my character. I dont want to be forced into leveling the most boring crafting jobs in mmo history.
Please SE, just make it fun... that all im asking for.

The lack of communication is what's most frustrating to me.
If you're going to withhold content for an entire month, can you at least increase your presence on the forums?

Until yesterday was golden week in japan, they were in holiday.
Ans btw, with all the testing they should do, passing their time posting would be the last of their thoughts

You do realize that posting would take 10min? Or writing a producer's letter giving us the info we request would take 30min-1h? Hardly an impact on their work.
They took a vacation last week so obviously their sense of urgency is gone. To their eyes FFXIV is not in a critical state anymore. IF they can afford a whole week off i'm sure they can afford a few minutes to keep us up to date.

While I'm not saying that withholding the information is good, the way you talk seems to be implying that the devs are nothing by lazy people who spend their days wondering when the next vacation is so they can get away from doing any work. Or not bothering to use ten minutes to talk to scrabble like us who demand, demand, demand, and demand more. And think about the time-differences; you really expect some person to still be at the offices past their dinner time? I think not.You do realize that posting would take 10min? Or writing a producer's letter giving us the info we request would take 30min-1h? Hardly an impact on their work.

If there isn't anything in the next 24 hours, then they need to get some hard-work in for the next patch or people will complain. Actually, people complain anyway, even if they do post. So people, wait, and KEEP THE NOISE DOWN.
