Obtaining Level 4 Crafting Materia as a Crafter

I have looked all over here and reddit and other various websites and I still cant figure out how to obtain lvl 4 materia as a crafter.

Can anyone enlighten me please?

well, as logic would say, and as the item description:

ilvl 55+ items has a chance of becoming IV materia.

- green armor for crafts
- green bracelet
- green secondary tool

would be my guess, but don't know the ilvl of those items off the bat

Since the T4 materia is only socketable on iLvl55+, it's likely that the T4 materia is only generated from those items as well. Unfortunately, it takes forever to spiritbond as a crafter, and I'm told that Aetheryte rings don't always (never?) produce crafting materia. You can spiritbond militia wristlets on any job, but I'm afraid that's the only item that you can do so.

Also, getting a T4 materia from iLvl55 items doesn't seem to be 100% chance, so there's that too...

So far I have converted 23 level 55 crafting items, and I have received only 2 times a materia IV.

From Aetheryte I've always received PVE materia III.

Lots of Aetheryte crystals, every single one was elemental resistance. One Fire IV though.
