Gamepad controls...how to change them..

Currently I'm trying to set up my gamepad to play 100% identical to the ps3 setup.
Heres my problem, my gamepad is identical to a ps3 controller in everyway, but the X button jumps for some reason (triangle jumps on ps3) the circle button confirms(X button confirms on ps3) and the triangle button cancels(circle cancels on ps3)

Anyone have any idea how to change these? I've tried to keybind gamepad settings and it just acts like I'm not pressing anything.

Have you ran the controller calibration? That's the only thing I can think of, as I'm not really sure why the controller configuration is not working.

System> System Configuration> hit the gamepad tab>Button Configuration>Begin
