Movie - Final Fantasy: Terra

While I think the plot to FFVI is one of the better suited for a movie and I do like their vision, the trailer was meh. The idea that they will produce the film based off using the trailer to coax SE to allow them permission to make a movie off one of their masterpieces is slightly whimsical. Even though Square pictures and SE clearly failed at their own attempts of making movies as impacting as their games I don't see them allowing others to have a go at it. Also, I fear that a kickstarter movie would be of lesser quality and if they make the movie of the same quality as the trailer I think I would rip my eyes out because it is just bad enough to piss me off. I've noticed they have another movie Divination, I'll watch that and see if they are worth spending a bit on helping the kickstarter.

Even with all that said, I'm excited for any FF making it to the big screen. I grew up on these games and always hoped of a good list of them making it to a movie format. Maybe a kickstarter would provide them with enough funding to make an immersive, enjoyable film. Unfortunately history has taught me not to get my hopes up. I still wish them the best though.

I would have liked it better if the actors who portrayed Kefka and Edgar actually looked more the part. But nonetheless it's... Okay at best.

Of course a fan trailer is going to look "cheesy", you shouldn't go in expecting Iron man 3 quality, this is fairly impressive for a low budget trailer. No reason to insult their effort.

Pretty impressive for a fan film!

Final Fantasy VI is my favorite game of all time. I would definitely watch this.
