WHAT? Why do you need to select the item everytime? I select it once for the area and just keep hitting the action button only plus it stay selected when you reach the next node as well - one select per area if you're gathering one item type. It's even easier on controller - after the initial selectoin of the wanted item all you need to do is to walk up to node and keep pressing teh same button (unless indeed you want to use buffs etc.).
that's the point i want to be able to go up to a node and only press the button once untill all the node is mined out, im lazy and having to press the button multiple times when i only want to mine the one item is boring and bothersome
