Received 0 credit for participating in Behemoth fate.

I am not 100% sure this is a bug, but it looked very strange to me. I am pretty sure I contributed a lot with healing the main tank from the beginning and Raiseing multiple people, but I did absolutely zero damage to behemoth himself. I never attacked him or did any damage to him that I know of. As well, the tank was in another party. I am thinking one of these is the reason behind not receiving any credit because I definitely was on his aggro list and I healed a lot.

Steps:
1. Joined Behemoth fate at the beginning.


2. Received only Fate Completed when I succeeded in the first part. No award. My party member told me later they got a silver medal, I didn't realize there was an award given during this part so I ignored the lack of any notification. Sorry I have no screenshot for this part, I was busy trying to stay alive.

3. Progressed to part 2 and continued to heal and raise...



4. Defeated Behemoth and only received Fate Completed. My party member told me they received a silver medal.

I can only guess at what happened. But first, sorry I gotta ask obvious questions. Did you recieve the item that he drops? Did you get seals or gil? I cannot speak for PC players but on the PS3 this happens every now and then to me. I receive the message Fate Complete but no rewards pop up. BUT, for some reason after my next FATE the previous one, (in my case odin's reward) showed up.

I did not receive any reward, no items and no pop-up for Gil/Seals. I have completed FATEs since then, but I have not done one since as a white mage so I will try that now and see what happens.

No matter how much you cure and raise,iIf you don't throw in some Aeros and Stones (you probably just need one or the other), you won't receive any credit.

That is kind of what I was figuring and thinking this might not be a bug but more how FATEs actually work? Is there any official word on needing to do damage to a monster to receive FATE credit, because if not it sounds kind of like a bug? :S I guess the only way to be safe from now on is throw an Aero on behemoth next time, but when I tried to cast a thunder during this one I got the main tank killed! So I kind of forgot about throwing some damage at him until it was all over, haha...

For the record, I tried doing another FATE and nothing.

Strange indeed. I understand that doing damage is the basic fundamental of FATEs but it was my understanding that the system also kept track of your healing for a FATE.

That is what i thought too, but even then, healing isn't rewarded on the same level as DPS or tank

The FATE system seems to not track your character unless damage is done. Can be as little as DoT, but if you're not being tracked, then you don't get credit.

I can't say I understand why this is different. You definitely can get 'hate' from healing, as I've seem countless times from other places. I guess it's just how the system works, since there can be passive jobs in the FATE zone, but not in the FATE itself.

That being said, I concur it's a bug.

I think odins and behemots hate list gets full or something last 2 odin i have done our party have no been able to get more then 1/10 of the first limit bar and we been there since 100% and i had no hate circle thing so i could spam aoe heals without geting hate and geting worst/bronze rating while we normaly geting silver so its like 1 person out of 8 in the party geting credit for his/her dps/healing
