Guildleve Counters, Global -- Text -- Issuer's Awkward Greeting -- "Ahem!"

When the player is in the Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa and speaks to Piralnaut to acquire a guildleve, the following text will appear:

"
Piralnaut: Ahem! Greetings, adventurer.
I deal in the issuing of guildleves
for regional levequests.
"

It is incorrect to have Piralnaut, Gontrant, and Totonawa greet the player with "Ahem!" every single time that they are spoken to. "Ahem!" is in response to these characters' initial discussion about the odd things happening in the world. However, those lines only appear once, and then never again.

Please fix this issue by removing "Ahem!" from the beginning of their normal guildleve-issuer text.

The corrected text would read as follows:

I deal in the issuing of guildleves

The transition from the "odd things happening the world" text to the normal guildleve-issuer text could be made in each of the previous lines about the weird things happening. This would negate the need for the "Ahem!". I'm not even sure such a transition is necessary at all. It doesn't read that oddly without it.

I thought this would be the sound of the NPC clearing his throat perhaps. Also from the way they state things about the odd things happening in the world sounds as if you are simply overhearing the information being addressed to another, instead of the NPC directly speaking to you about it. It's like a cashier dealing with another customer before you and then greeting you properly when its your turn is how I read it.

English teacher jokes aside, I'm actually kinda glad someone's looking out for stuff like this, though I don't always agree with Mermentia's posts. I know I'm too lazy to actively look for it, but if I noticed it, I'd say something about it, too. Like the time the staff here told me that "sprightly" is an adverb (which I still disagree with >_>).

In response to the actual topic, I can see why one would find this a little awkward. On the other hand, I'm perfectly willing to dismiss it as the characters' clearing sore throats. I know I'd be a bit hoarse if I had to talk as much every day as the NPCs do. . .

Ya I dont find it incorect for him to clear his throat before talking to you, I often find people working behind desks at receptions do this.

'Ahem!' is just an interjection, isn't it? As stated above, I see this as the NPC clearing his/her throat, he/she could do that whenever he/she wants to...
