i have seen this done a few times but the effect must have specific timing so im not sure how this will play out in hard battles.
SCH can do it with Succor

They should either allow the players accepting raise to be instantly raised, or to be raised in full health (prolly increase the cost of raise - unlikely), or gives the players accepting raise a short term invincibility (perhaps with a lil penalty, such as immobile, etc).

It is so common in this game where players were raised after battle aoe mechanic, spent 8 sec casting it, took another 5+ sec for the players to rez up, and before we could finish casting a heal on the player, another aoe launched and killed the poor fella.

This game still requires a lot of fixing.

My main complaint with it is that I can not heal the raised party member but a mob can kill them before their feet even touch the ground. Once the raise animation happens I should be able to cast say beny on someone taking them to full HP. I have never understood why a mob can hit you but I can't cast on you. That and the targeting of a raised player is broke. I use a gamepad and if I raise you and cast Cure 2 it will just heal myself. I have to wait a few seconds, retarget the player and then cast. Same raise delay issue.

If you are vulnerable to damage you should be eligible for heals. I feel like this is simple balance between us and the enmies. That said, I have noticed that the fairy will autotarget embrace almost instantly (before I can cast on them). Tested this with a friend, eos was able to heal them before feet hit ground while my spells (targetd on them) hit me.

SCH master race, clearly. Nerf eos, awmigawd.

If and when they implement PvP, I bet it will have the exact same mechanics. Player dies in PvP, teammate rezzes him and the opposing team can then wail on the rezed player while his team can do nothing to protect/heal him.

All the more reason to get this fixed.

It works perfectly as it is, its a risk / reward system; the mechanics are pretty obvious, wanting a free combat rez where the rezzed target is safe is silly and will trivialize combat rezzing.
There are many ways to try and reduce the risk of the target immediately dying, it makes it enjoyable and highly rewarding when executed well.

I would rather that it remains the way it is, instead of having people mindlessly rezzing each other just because they can, with little to no risk to it. *Weakness is easily blockable, so I don't see it as a a risk factor anymore*

The least thing that has to be done is letting me heal rezzed player while he can recieve damage. I can live with everything else.

My experience on hardmode Ifrit: No matter where and when you res someone, Ifrit WILL find some way to kill them before they are allowed to move again. If somebody dies, leave them. Because trying to res them only makes it harder.

If it must be the way it is that's fine , but what would be nice is some indicator when I can heal that person so I don't try and just heal myself instead because of this timer.

Please just adjust raise in some way so that the following logic is true: If monster's ability can hit a player being raised, a player should be able to cure him/her.

This is challenging enough since you will not be given much time to heal the affected player while your party, yourself, and your tank, are taking hits (and especially more so since you do not have much time usually before the next aoe attack hits the affected player).
