Fix the Global Cooldown on utility skills please!!

I am currently a White Mage, but I found it pretty useless when activating Presence of Mind. It increase my Spell Speed for 10 secs, but I lose around 5 secs because of the Global Cooldown (2.5 for activating PoM and another 2.5 for casting my first Cure)

Instead it is better to cast 2x Cure. These utility skills shouldn't be on the Global Cooldown. With a 5 mins cooldown for PoM, I was hoping for it to have a real impact, but it's kinda useless now. The same will be true once I get Divine Heal at level 40.

They are not on the global, but there is a small delay after activating them before you can use another skill.

Right now they are on Global Cooldown. The delay isn't smaller at all comparing to when I cast Cure or any other spell.

Spam that and replace divine seal with whatever spell is in question. Watch said spell go off between Regen casts all within a single 2.5 sec gcd.

If you need a macro to not see the all the bars going on GDC (even if it's less than 2.5 secs), there is something to fix here. Once I activate PoM, Divine Heal or whatever the utility ability, I shouldn't see all my bars with a GDC-ish countdown ont them.

In your exemple, you cast Regen, but if I want Cure or Medica, it means I have to make a macro for that too?!?! With Presence of Mind I have to make 3-4 different macros just to be sure each spell can be cast without delay after PoM?!?! How does that even make any sense??

Like I said, I shouldn't have to make a single macro for something that isn't working properly.

The only thing to fix is your ability to perceive 2.5 seconds vs a small animation delay. I simply provided the macro to show you proof. Most of us don't need it.

I agree that the animation delay should be removed, but they are no way on a GCD or taking anywhere near 2.5 seconds to go off as you have described.

The thing is if you have to make a macro and spam it, for it to work, there might be something to fix... There are many "instant" abilities that require spamming buttons

There's a motion delay if you use it without macro.

I dunno what you guys are doing differently but when I activate presence of mind or divine seal I have no GCD. There's a slight delay when I activate them due to the animation, but otherwise I can go straight into a spell.
