I feel time would be much appreciated if it was the same. What do you all think?

Some people can only play at the same time every day. It would always be 6pm for them in the game and they'd never see the game's daytime.
Hmm, that would make it more realistic but it would limit me to only seeing the afternoon and evening phases of the day as I can't login in the morning lol.
Eorzea time is in the game times, I believe there's some gathering class that have to follow by Eorzea time to get certain item they wished. For example, to get excalty lumber you have to be at Eorzea time's or so I was told.
(On side note.. Your signature. I can tell who first two but who heck is rest of it? mind tell me? lol awesome signature. )
Edit:: Oh I see. haha thanks

No, just no. This would mean getting up at 5 am at night to get certain fish for the fishing quests, it would mean you always had to wait for certain weather to come, and then that weather would stay for hours. And what about those not living close to the server?
All in all, the idea is so bad, that noone ever suggests it, and with good reasons.
As it's been stated before, it's a bad idea due to conflicting schedules IRL. I'm pretty sure there was a developer response somewhere (not these exact words) that said Eorzea's time was purposely fast-forwarded so people who log in at 11am could do the same thing as people who log in at 5pm.
It's not a bad idea, but for what ARR offers, it doesn't fit very well.
I had no idea about all of this. That explains a lot.
