    Need help pickng a craft!

    Hey guys,

So I hit level 50 on my warrior and was after a beneficial craft and one that will also help make myself some gil. I am going to level up PUG as well.

    So far I have got 15 BSM, 12 ARM, 23 CUL, 16 MIN, 18 BOT, 26 FSH.

I am really struggling to find anything that will help myself out. ARM seems perfect for materia melding on my WAR but, apart from that it does seem like a massive investment in real life time for something while being needed, seems massive to grind and only benefits 1 thing. I tried BSM but, after searching through the forums I hear that u can get gear from dungeons that is a lot better. I thought I might make tools for other crafts to use also however, even the HQ tools are flooded on my server and it doesn't seem like a viable way to make me some gil.

Lastly I came to CUL, which I quite enjoyed a bit but, like BSM, after hitting up the forums it seems like CUL atm is a grand waste of time :/ I've tried the gathering crafts and while I don't seem to mind fishing, I cannot stand MIN or BOT. They both seem exceptionally tedious and time consuming.

Realising this is an mmo and nothing is handed to you on a plate and the idea is that these things DO take time (which I understand and do enjoy), I can't seem to find anything that can help 'reel' the gil in. A craft that, will also help my jobs/classes but, doesn't require a mammoth amount of time for something so small (materia melding).

I'm definitely not here to complain, I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed and lost with crafts atm :/

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

(Sorry, had to make 2 posts to fit it all in)

actually i dont mind the mining/botany collecting if i just focus on the collecting instead of doin duty finder + collect i generally can get 500+ normal mats and about 130 HQ mats in about n hour - hour + 10, those amounts can normally make alot of progress 2wards the crafting classes :3

If you're just now leveling a trade skill, my suggestion is to level all of them at once till 15. This will allow you to create the intermediate materials you need for everything till 25-30 in your primary vocation, it'll allow you to create HQ tools/crafting armor to go with it, it'll allow you to clean your armory chest out of all the pre lvl 15 crafting equipment, but most importantly it'll unlock all the level 15 cross class skills for every class after that.

I leveled my armorer to 50, then realized I needed a bunch of the cross class skills to actually be successful at crafting high level armor. I'd suggest rushing leatherworker first for Waste Not, that ability alone will give you 2 more actions on 40 durability items which means more quality which means more exp when leveling the other classes.

Once you've got them to 15, continue to level them in parallel if you're enjoying it or pick a primary vocation, look at the recipes, and figure out where the majority of the cross class components come from for final combines and level that with it.
