What I'm wondering is how reflective this is of actually running the game? I know the benchmark is designed to stress the card, but I don't really know by how much.

Laptop specs:
HP Envy M6-1107TX
Windows 8
i5 3210m processor
AMD Radeon HD 7670M graphics card
Those specs are fine. Laptops aren't generally known for being good gaming machines, either due to poor cooling (buy a cooling pad) or due to underpowered parts.

Please keep in mind that laptops "emergency thermal shutdown" results in the laptop physically turning off to save itself from damage. This is expected behavior for laptops.
