the game doesnt even launch, so I cant even get the errors other folks seem to be having. tried replacing/ reinstalling to no avail. any help would be appreciated

i am also getting this message, im afraid this problem will persist after maintenance, as its happening as you try to login to the launcher, while most people seem to be able to get past that point and see no worlds or whatever, never got this error before durring any other maintenance
yup as i thought, servers back up and still getting this error. is there a way to manually update the game? i tried logging in durring maintenance earlier not realizing it was going on and downloaded an update... maybe that messed things up?
some other threads have had the idea to get someones updated copy of the launcher and replace it with your own. I have tried that with no change in error

this is the error that is listed in event viewer. this might be helpful
I've been having the same issue since official service started. I was able to play fine during early access.
Reinstalling did not work. (Reinstall wouldn't even let me get to the character select screen anymore). Updating my drivers did not work. Updating my windows 7 did not work.
This game is turning out to be an unstable mess.
Check your email used for your account. You're account is probably locked until password is changed.
nice of them to give you a notice that your account is locked when you try to login... oh wait no the launcher just shuts down without saying anything lol hope this fixes it as i did have an email about suspicious activity
edit: now i have to download again as i uninstalled hoping that would help grrr
