How i know i'm ready for an instance?

    Hello,
in another game i was playing there was a minimum statistic you needed to enter a dungeon and be able to survive.

Now in final fantasy - how i know my gear is enouph to enter for example IFRIT HARDMODE?

I dont want to make healers life difficult goingo undergeared but i dont want to wait till being overpowered, so how i know when i'm ready for each instance?

Ifrit hm can be tanked with any full set of level 50 gear pretty much. Basically get your level 50 gc wpn and run wp or ak a handful of times and you should be set.

Yeah as these guys have said you need to be aware of the gear required and a lot of the hard modes you need to know how it's done before you enter otherwise you are just going to let your team down. If you are looking for any guides just check out my channel I have heaps of walk throughs etc. Link below.

I LOVE the irony of this sort of reply .. because those that wrote the guides were born knowing how to do them and didn't have to learn.

I love how the 'pros' forget they too were 'noobs' once upon a time.

Sorry for posting a link to a guide that could be very useful to this person? I never once claimed to be pro or anything of the type, just trying to be helpful and your attitude is just really... meh.

I think his point was more towards this part:

I don't think he meant a jab at you, directly. I think it was a jab at the endgame community, in general, which feels overrun by players who have decided that 3 weeks from launch is ample time for every player to be geared and experienced, unless they're an idiot. That's been my experience, anyways, as depressing and frustrating as it may be. Nobody wants to be a weak link, but there are still lots of players just getting to the end-game who don't know what they need, and the game doesn't gate them.

For my part, however, I'll be checking out your videos, because my WHM is in dire need of tips to survive Garuda HM's clones. Assuming, of course, the answer lies in tactics, and not gear.

The clones phases are the most healing intensive of the fight, especially the first set where everyone is crammed into a small area and getting hit by Garuda's Friction aswell.

Whoever is off-tanking should just focus on one of the sisters and try and keep hate on it while DPS burn down the other one. You or the other healer will be tanking it but it doesn't hit all that hard and you should just be able to heal through his attacks with no issues.

You can do ifrit HM in vendor whites. This is what you should be doing after you run CM and Pretorium to get a weapon. You can also be doing CM speed runs and WP for tokens to get DL gear, to get yourself ready for AK/HM Garuda/HM Titan.
