Why is everyone in this game is afraid to...

This actually is one of those things that really irks me...people need to stop saying it if they have to suffix it with "once you know..." When I won Titan with a good group, it was "easy", but it was hard to get to that point. First time I did Chimera (first week of go live), it was hard; I helped my partner last week and that run was easy: but only because people worked on gear and technique to get it down.

So yeah...I agree..."easy"...bad word

Palinq: even with the circles, learning the pattern (as if you're casting in the middle of a circle you die) doesn't fall under "easy" until you go "ah I get it now"...and then it may be easy for you, but unless it's easy for the entire party it ain't classed as easy - it's the wrong use of the word.

However...overall I have to admit the game doesn't demand enough, I enjoyed FFXI and the CoP expansion - that was actually hard a lot of the time and I loved it - so rewarding to complete. So by comparison, FFXIV is easy, it really needs to avoid pandering to the overly casual players in almost all aspects of the game.
