I was one of the first rank 50 MRD's on Wutai.
When i did my MRD guild quests i was confused as f***
They were disorganized, kinda boring and pointless, had some lame story about joining pirates, etc. There weren't any cool cutscenes and the story was kinda boring.

I just did all 3 botany guild quests.
They had a great story, lots of cutscenes, awesome music, etc. They felt like the cutscene quests from FFXI. Now some parts were a b**** to do because of horrible mob placement and some lame "sleeping mob" mini game, but the story part was -excellent-.

So whats up with that?
Why does it seem like they put a ton of effort into the botany guild quests and almost no effort into the MRD ones?

And why are they making these lame sidequests (and i've done 47+ of them so far) when they could be making quests like the botany guild quests.

If they added in lets say 50 cutscene-esque sidequests and chocobo's, people would have a lot more fun playing the game. But instead everything is just "run here, kill 5 normal mobs, run back".

So is there a reason that the quests are lacking so much when they are capable of making good ones?
