I was 90k'ed also while at a retainer bell. I was able to get right back on though after restarting my client.

Yeah, if you can't get load the server list, it's usually a good idea to reload your client. Unless the servers are actually down, that'll usually fix things.

These error codes are generic error codes used to identify the problem. All MMOs have them. They have nothing to do with beta.

For example the you will get 90k error if you disconnect whether it was the world server breaking or your isp losing connection. (Although I think it was the world server in this case seeing how the healer in my party also d/c about the same time.)

If you going to be mad, at least be mad at the right cause.
