targeting broken?

so i didn't know if i should post this into the game-bug section or the tech-sup so i'll just leave it here.
feel free to move it to right section.

currently my targeting seems a lil broken, no matter if i'm on /tmode a or b, whatever option i use i can target EVERYTHING with every target selection.
like i can target random players with "Enemy" or "Party".
This wasn't the case tho a few days back, i could only target enemys with "Enemy" or party members with "Party" or "Friendly".
i'm playing with a xbox 360 wired pad, so i either choose my targets with the right/left buttons (with right/left i can still target according to the target option) or with my select/confirm button (now targets everything, regardless to the target option).

did anyone else experience the same issue?
this doesn't happen to friends i play with that use the same gamepads, and like said it used to work for me normally aswell just 1 or 2 days ago.

any help is appreciated

No targeting issues here, though last night the graphic switched up on me a few times.
I was in target mode A, and the graphic changed to Enemy and later on to Friendly, despite actually being in A. It fixed itself after a battle.
Unless you specifically chose to go to B, chances are it was just a graphic glitch and not a targeting one.

You sure that's not because of the changes in 1.17a? They changed it so if you hold the auto-run button and various other things (accept button, decline button etc) you can switch to friendly/enemy/party etc. It's pretty much perfect targetting using it. When out fighting stuff I switch to enemy with target mode A, so up/down cycles party members and left/right targets enemies. I just switch back to All in cities etc.

If i'm in Emeny tageting mode it will still target friendly's. It happens 90% of the time when i'm in a party. The targeting is still broke.

Same issue here, all i want is "Target All", not the other bullcrap.
Also using 360 controller to play with, and with same damn issue.

I suggest an "lock" target mode option in Configuration menu, with optional macro / command for those who want that option.

I only play with a controller. I never change modes. After about an hour of leves, I suddenly lose the ability to toggle between enemy targets... Always after about an hour, no sooner or later.

Weird, 360 gamepad user here. For me in mode a, left/right targets proper mode, confirm selects all. It took a bit of getting used to but I can target as needed and switch modes in an instant.

left/right targeting works properly, but what i'm annoyed with is that i can target everything with select/confirm.

Nope, that's been the case since it changed. You just have to get used to using left/right as the primary select instead of confirm. It takes some getting used to but once you do it's a fantastic system.

I love the current Type A when using it with a game pad.
