Strange thing is we run off the same wireless router same internet provider of course and similar set up comps (we are both gamers on our down time)....
Only difference we have is; he bought and downloaded the digital copy early access and all that good stuff and I have a physical copy purchased the day the game went live from GameStop (was not here for beta). He already wiped his puter thinking some of the beta files corrupted his download. He did a complete wipe and reinstalled fresh did everything they told him to on tech support and is still getting this error.

What happens if he plays on your computer with his account? Or he uses your physical disc to install?

I just played the game for 14 hours (well that's the time registered in process lasso) without a single crash. The list of crashes ( Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center\Problem Reports ) after Catalyst 13.9 was installed went from several times per day to once per day. I've never been disconnected other than on http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-%28Sep.-19%29 , and I'm on the west coast. So it's not always SE's fault either.

As I've said in a few threads, not all reported problems symptoms are being caused by the same things. It's possible to have a completely stable connection, and it's possible to be on a congested node on the same ISP in the same city and have disconnection issues. I've seen at least a few people report in the thread at the top of the tech forum from my ISP having problems.

It's also possible that some of the disconnections are being caused by problematic WiFi Routers. One thread has shown three people with ASUS routers having a problem.
