Crystal Tower has been made easier to be done with Duty Finder. But please...!

Could we have an hard/extreme switch mode of it?

Everything about the CT looks amazing so far, except the fact that the difficulty has been scaled down by a lot because it would cause stress on players by using the duty finder (as Yoshi-P said in the recent interviews).

So please, i beg you Devs, make an hard/extreme mode for Free Companies in search of challenges, like you are already doing with existing dungeons and Primals.

So the more "casual" players can enjoy the CT without any stress, and
at the same time the organized free companies will have (more) bread for their teeth

Out of curiosity I thought that Crystal Tower (in terms of gear progression) was to be done BEFORE Coil of Bahamut? So technically doesn't it make sense that it's a bit easier instead of harder than coil?

Also.. Are you really asking for bumping up the difficulty of unreleased content whose difficulty you know nothing about yet?

According to the devs Titan HM is also doable with Duty Finder, but the general consensus is that trying to Duty Finder that one is pretty much suicide. This might be the same.

Since CoB is there since the begining it's not the case.From what I read so far, even if CT is made a bit easier than CoB, they are design to be done in parallel. CT has a 24 player requirement with the 3 party sometimes being separated, sometimes playing together, it's another form of difficulty. Also they will do update on this two raid alternatively, 2.1 being the implementation of CT and 2.2 first update of CoB.

See I could have sworn I saw people saying that Coil is iLevel 90? And crystal tower is iLevel 80? Honestly I could be 100% wrong, this is just what I saw a few forum posters say. Assuming that's correct then to me at least it makes sense it' not as hard. As too why SE is putting it in after Coil has been released I have no idea.

They already said in the last live letter that the gear in CT (the part we're getting right now in 2.1) is lower than CoB. Also stated that it won't be as hard, as 24 people bum rushing it is hard to make difficult for them, not those exact words but some along the lines. Now the next part might have better gear, but also by then we'll have CoB Bahamut fight, so there will better gear there too. Sounds like so far all we're gonna get is the cave leading towards CT, and maybe 1st level? They empasized the fact it was going to be long and hard to get there and scaling the tower would take time, and I don't think they mean from player side.

That's funny, but it wouldn't surprise me. Maybe they actually learned something from primals DF, this size of a raid shouldn't have more than 2-3 tanks.

Right, and then everyone will be crying for a nerf for those "hard/extreme" modes. It never fails. "make it as haaard as possible!" when content actually comes out.."omfg this is so cheap and unfair (insert massive f bombs) SE omg!!! and so on.
