    damn right. and it better be permanent im sick of this lag due to too many players. if u read the announcement they update very regularly in launcher REGARDing character creation u can keep track when its open instead of making forums posts here. ;/ tht announcement is updated 4 times a day.

    I haven't seen anything about them freezing character creation like the did at release it probably just the queue causing problems with the creation wizard we are queuing a lot during peak times. Try early in the morning or late at night.

    They post updates frequently on Lodestone. http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...06d0909189e479 So no you cannot create a character until they release the lock.
    If you're also getting issues with lag when it comes to large amounts of players, then that means it's an issue with your own hardware.
