    Question on choosing tank gear

    Gear level > Defense?

    A lvl 20 item with 50 def is better then a lvl 15 item with 55 defense? Is that accurate?

    Because Defense scales linearly, it has ever increasing returns. In layman's terms, every point of Defense is better than the last.
