Job storyline in 2.0

I don't know why but SE didn't change the Job storyline in 2.0.

The old Job storyline is still there but background is changed and the battle been given more mechanics.

Is there a lore reason why 5 years later the events of 1.0 Job storyline are repeating themselves in 2.0.

I can only guess that as...

New Adventurer: the Legacy players never took on the Job storyline in 1.0 so the events of 1.0 Job storyline never happened until 2.0

Legacy: Because of the Calamity not only was the memory of the Legacy player was gone but the events of the Job Storyline was reset as well. Leading to the surviving members not having any memories of performing the same events in 1.0.

Except changing the story wouldn't make any more sense, because you already unlocked and advanced the job anyway, so you would be doing it again.

Not true there are minor changes here and there, and now u got to do the big fights solo.

I'm not asking them to change the story entirely but why is it the same as in 1.0 eventhough the Job storyline in 1.0 happened 5 years before 2.0. Couldn't they use make a new storyline that continued the 1.0 Job storyline instead of reusing the same story.

Only background and fights are different. Hwoever, lore wise the events of 1.0 Job quest are repeating themselves in 2.0 despite that they already happened in 1.0.

How? The story is about you unlocking the job, so if it was a continuation from 1.0 then what with new people?
