    Account not registered

    A friend of mine is wanting to purchase the game digitally, but is having some issues.

    He has an account here on the website. When he goes to log in, it says he isn't registered and offers an email to assist in registration. He took the email, clicked the link provided to register, and it said that his registration was complete.

    Then, when he tried to log into his account, it says invalid user name and password.

    He's sent an email to support but I'm not sure when it'll be answered. I tried searching the forums for this problem and haven't come up with anything, so maybe I'm using the wrong keywords.

    Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Again, he hasn't officially purchased the game, I'm assuming he needs to do that while logged into the account. I didn't purchase digitally, so I can't assist or give him any ideas.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    If he hasn't assigned the serial to a new account, has he tried simply remaking a new account? (It has be a SE account, by the way, which can be found here https://membership.square-enix.com/register?locale=en )
