RIVENROAD! Hardcore done casual. [ Recruiting ]

Greetings.

I'd like to extend an invitation to our Free Company, Rivenroad.
The idea of this Company is hardcore content, tackled in a casual way (flexible schedules, big events just twice a week but AK and WP grinding held on a daily optional basis).

Origin:
This company originated through the merger of a Nael Hard and a Darklight static following 1.0. Afterwards friends of friends started joining, most of them ex-XI players, and thus we started to grow.

Demographic:
Our demographic is people in their early and late twenties, but everyone is welcome.
We like keeping a pretty carefree atmosphere, so while we don't support aggressive cussing you will encounter sexist jokes, the word d*ck (a lot), people being told to go to the kitchen and make a sandwich, avatar runs endorsed by vodka shots, etc.

Required:
We use the software RaidCall for events. It's available for free at http://www.raidcall.com/v7/download-raidcall.html

Schedule:
- We run Amdapor Keep and the Wanderer's palace on a daily schedule. These runs are optional and participation is given on a whoever-is-on basis. These runs are usually hosted by few in the morning around 12-14 EDT, and later on by more after 18+ EDT.
- Primal fights: These runs are usually hosted around 8 PM EDT twice a week. If you are on and needed, you have to attend. We also run these on a more casual manner all through the week.

So far we've cleared Chimera, Hydra, Ifrit and Garuda for our members. We are scheduled to start Titan runs within this and next week. We are a very core team who likes to help each other and play together.


Applying:
Currently we are giving priority to healers, followed by tanks. But we also are accepting damage dealers. So basically, everyone is welcome. Please post in the thread the following and you will be contacted in game if accepted:

Hello. I think I may have actually played with you in 1.0 as the name sounds very familiar. I played a BLM and WHM named Adella Mary.

I got off to a slow start in ARR as I rerolled a fresh character. I play casually with a hardcore attitude, similar to what you are describing here. Unfortunately I only have a chance to get on about 3 nights a week for about 4-5 hours, so I am not available everyday.

I have 40 PLD, and 38 BLM at the moment. I am maining PLD. Leveling BLM stalled that progress, but now PLD is my main focus.

Not geared at all for end game yet.
Have not finished the storyline. Don't spoil it for me

I play Wed, Thu, Fri, and sometimes Sun nights from 8p-1 or 2a EST.

My current priorities in the game are to get to 50, start farming gear, do primals, and eventually unlock Coils to do higher tier end game.

I am 29 years old, married, pretty busy irl which is why I was looking for a casual raiding FC that will do end game content. I also come with a friend who also plays and may have played with you in 1.0. His character name is Crazy Fool. He has much more free time than I do. He has PLD, WAR, BLM, BRD, and soon to be DRG at 50, and prefers to play DPS classes. He plays most nights around similar times.

I will be on all night tonight and tomorrow starting around 8 EST if you would like to talk more in game. The FC we joined is dead and we are looking to meet some new people to run dungeons and do end game with.

You replied to my thread post. It was the PLD and MNK looking for endgame FC. I think the way your FC is would work for us.

I main PLD(50). I also have ARC, CNJ(both 19), and MRD(10). The only DoH class I have is BSM(27). I can level other classes if needed, but I mainly just trying to gear out my PLD. My friend mains MNK(50) but also has some other classes leveled (I forget) and he has leatherworking and goldsmithing(50) and a few others that he is leveling( again, I forget, so if needed, just ask !!)

I have all the AK pieces, a few DL pieces, my mythos body, and Ifrit sword. My friend is more geared than I am (I believe he has another mythos piece or 2). We are both currently trying to get our relic pieces (so I can replace my shield ).

We are both done with the storyline and I need to beat hard garuda and then we will both need to beat hard titan.

I work about 30 to 40 hours a week so being flexible is helpful, especially since my work schedule is all over the place. My friend is in school, so that would help him a lot. We will usually play whenever there is not real life things getting in the way. So we are usually always on.

We want to join a FC that will do endgame content, since our current FC is a very casual FC and there are a ton of people that are still in the leveling process. I read your demographic, and I laughed on how you guys act, which is perfect for us since that fits our personalities so well. I main a tank and you said you need some tanks, and my friend is a very good dps and will often out dps other MNKs that are better geared than him. So let us in please!!! :P

Hello.. I may be interested in joining though I'm quite unsure yet as I just began my search for a actual Free Company and there is a lot out there but this one caught my attention so far.. So I'll be posting if that is no biggy and look forward to talking to a officer or the leader as I narrow down my choices for a FC.

My main job is Warrior. I do have extras but none of them are level cap yet.

I am only missing my Darklight gloves and leg/boot (which is a 1piece for tanks.) and I will be in full DL gear.. I also am using a Ifrit axe as my weapon.

- Have you finished the storyline? And if so, do you have access to any of the primals' hard ver?
Yes and I'm up to Garuda, have not touched her yet.

- How often do you play and around what schedule?
I'm on for a good amount of time.. I currently have a lot of free time. It might change but I can't be certain on that.

- What are your priorities in the game?
End-Game progression, med RP, PvP in that order.. Overall just having fun while doing those three things.

- Tell us a bit about yourself, why do you want to join and why should we pick you?
I'm 20, I've been playing mmorpgs for quite some time.. I've spent over 5 years in WoW doing raiding and PvP, transfer over to Tera Online which I didn't really do much raiding or PvP mainly RP because the game was.. crappy. Hobbies are cycling, exercising, lore reading and netflixing..
Why you should pick me? Honestly I have nothing to sway you with. I believe I'm a good tank and enjoy tanking it clicks with me aside from that I'm no different then the person to my left and right.
