Never seen so many gathering bots in a game

Its actually sad, I think I reported about 15 players today who are teleporting around the map to each mining node. They also are a transparent character model for some reason, and they only seem to be growing. I gave up on reporting them since its such a long task to fill out a ticket.

There are about 9 or 10 teleport botters around me right now in Central Thanalan.

The transparency is due to a gathering stealth skill fyi

The transparency is a DoL skill called stealth. Prevents them from being attacked by mobs and is a legit skill.

That "legit" skill is what make people not see them and thus not report the fact that they're teleporting from node to node.

Then again even if people saw them and reported them nothing would happen. I see the same human males spamming in every city in the game for weeks on end. SE doens't give a flying fuck about spammers or botters.

Ok, didn't know about the skill but all those bots using that skill are indeed teleporting around

You'd think that's a lot. But there are more. There are some that stay underground when they teleport. You only see them when they end up too close to the surface, or by some vertical terrain, such that half their nameplate shows through the ground.
