If thats how much it is going to be. I don't see anyone but MAYBE lagacy players, gil buyers, botters from affording it any time soon.

With everyone able to level every crafting class. There really wont be any market for anything besides maybe materia here in a couple months.

If it is 2mil for small i have absolutely no problem with this that means crafting mats will likely be high priced too giving us some reason to craft again

2 million Gil is kinda extreme. But then again, I assume that's for the FC housing? Private housing, later down the line, you'd expect would be cheaper. Also, didn't Yoshi say the price on housing would drop after a while?

There are some legacy players with that cash floating around right now, just waiting to spend it.

Heck, one of my legacy characters had 500K gil in 1.0 just from doing story quests, class quests, and various leves.

I might pick up crafting just to make furniture for my new house.

Ever since SWG, I've been into housing systems. I've played most MMO if a housing system just to see it. Anyways, the housing video has got me excited x.x

How about you guys?

Housing in SWG was the end-all be-all of player housing in MMOs. I have never seen another triple A MMO come anywhere close to approaching the virtual world lived-in customization of SWG's player housing and living world homesteading. If player housing in FFXIV comes anywhere close to that, I'll never leave this game... evar! Thank you, Kelzack, for sharing this video.
