I was actually already looking for you Sulel, because you said you were looking for a casual FC in the other thread.

I have to say, I am very pleasantly surprised by how many people are interested in our little FC.

Most of my RL gaming buddies had no interest in FF:ARR and so I was stuck with almost 0 contacts when I started the FC a few days ago, and without any serious ingame advertisement (I made a macro to broadcast recruitment messages, but only got to use it a single time) we had a good dozen of members in such a short time span, just by this forum post and word of mouth.

And I am proud to say that those are not the type of members some of the huge FCs recruit who never say anything and just solo along. They are all nice people who are enjoying the game together and doing their own part to create a friendly and fun community, because they want to.


Just to give anyone interested a little update on our progress and general situation:

I finished basic work on our website and forum, but it is all very empty right now and I want to give our members a bit more time to get used to it, find all my horrible, horrible spelling mistakes and just make it more lively before I put it out on public.

We are still recruiting, but I stopped actively advertising the FC ingame and on other forums/sites for the time being, so people can get used to the new faces gradually, rather than being overwhlemed by a flood of strangers.


When I get back ingme I will keep an eye you for you four, and we can talk properly. I think talking to a person always gives you a better idea what to expect rather than reading a forum post.

I think that's all for now... see you ingame, and don't worry if you have to work, or I'm not online, we all have our RL commitments and we'll get in touch a some point . There's no rush, we're not going anywhere.

Hi PrHassenfuss, I'm currently looking for a temporary FC to play with until the server transfers are rolled out, as I have friends on other servers.

I'm quite serious when it comes to MMO's, but for me it's always been more about playing with other people and socializing than number crunching (I'm terrible at math anyway haha!). My main class is a lv 37 white mage and I am online most days for at least 4 hours or more. Like you I also have a job and my own home to maintain so even though I take it all seriously, at the end of the day I'm playing the game to enjoy it ^^

Hi, I'd love to join the Vagabond Knights if possible? Do I send a tell in game?

I play with real life friends that play and my girlfriend when we're on together, but sometimes we find other players on the duty finder for dungeons that can be impatient and rude.

Would be nice to meet some other players in game to chat to and team up with, or help out, but without any expectation or requirements! I'd like to play with people who play the game only if and when they want to not when they are told, or in fear of being cast out for being late to a scheduled run or 2.

I'd be very interested in having a chat with you in game. We're a (literal) couple of old gamers here who aren't interested in all the hardcore bs anymore. Been there, done that, I actually value my sleep higher than internet pixels now

That isn't to say we don't have any goals in the game, but the main one is first and foremost to have fun.

We play pally and white mage so finding groups is a non issue but we'd much rather play the same bunch of people know rather than complete strangers who usually don't bother saying a word during a dungeon run.

We're GMT+1 and at least one of us (yeah well ok, me) can usually be found online every day during the week and we tend to geek it out more seriously during weekends

So long story short we're looking for a bunch of nice an decent fellas who understand that walking the dog is indeed not an option and comes first whether you "need" a tank right now or not
