    I am also having this issue. Originally I thought the issue was that I was running server 2012 but reinstalled to Windows 8 and same issue. My windows 8 laptop runs without issue.

    All drivers are up to date including the new NVidia driver

    Hope that this can be resolved as my lappy really isn't up to the task of gaming.
