Mob drops need to be addressed

As crafters progress in rank, they start to require more and more lucrative items. Many of which can be farmed up by Botanists and Miners, but many also require enemy drops. The problem here is that some of these are so important and so vital that the few spawn locations for these enemies are now overpopulated with campers, forcing those in the trades to either pay high prices for materials or compete tirelessly for claims.

At the moment there are two such major stumbling blocks for weavers and the primary one is Fleece. Aside from a poor drop rate, this also suffers in that it only drops from Karakul's which spawn in Coerthas. This has lead to a rise in campers.

Please fix this SE. Give us more spawns or different ways to obtain vital resources!

Agreed, I can imagine the RMT farming them (if they aren't already!) with their current prices. Fleece currently hovers around 500 gil each on Leviathan which is more than twice our Diremite, the other one that's over-farmed.

You think having campers at karakuls is bad? Try our server with teleporting bots on the banemites and karakuls (generally any mob that drops vital mats) 24/7

Supposedly there are bots now teleporting to monster locations, you don't have a chance in hell competing against this, SE need to remove this teleporting bullshit in the next patch (assuming they even know how to)

They better. I tracked down of the teleporting bot programs and opened a ticket supplying the download link.

This doesn't do anything - You (at best) get a website shutdown but then you have people like BG who make their own tools that no one will be able to get or see because it's kept within their own LS/FC and other tools floating around that'll simply pop up on 4chan, reddit or some other cool kid website. All they can do is continue to adjust code and memory to try to break the bots.

I know. but it seems like they aren't doing anything to fix the problem. So i thought i would give them a poke in rear.

Regardless I don't see why they never added a server location update check. If the server knows your at X,Y and can only move 5yrds in a second, but you report your 50-60yrds from your last place. The server should refuse your location update with a auto disconnect or forcing you back to your previous location +5yrds. This is a simple server side validation that even F2P and indie MMO's are doing. So why can't SE do it?

There is a poor drop rate, but they can drop up to 3x fleece per mob. That compensates for it hardcore.
The only issue is with the bots. But it's really, really fun to screw with them by pulling repops out of range with Aero before they can Holy them.

I have heard that if you open the trade window with a bot, it's screws up their programming and they won't be able to claim mobs (or maybe teleport either). So, grab a friend or two, have someone start a trade with a bot while the others claim mobs.

It's fine how it is. i have a lvl 50 craft with a second/third on the way up. if you want to have more drops/spawns you will only screw yourself over in the long run by lowering the price of top tier stuff.
You might not have alot of time during the day to play this game, but like most of us we plan our days.
Maybe you should try this.
