Fate trolls?

Yeah, my combat classes (that I play) are all 50 so the exp is a non-issue for me as I get none. But the fates aren't without benefit to me, as many have mentioned company seals. Whether I spend 30 minutes murdering the fate mobs or turning in all the things I gathered at the start, the reward doesn't change. And yeah, I'm usually not in a party for these things. I don't get why people think Fates is the only way to level. You've got leves and dungeons you could run, you could turn in the dungeon loot for seals or sell it on the market board... it's a big game, make the most of it!

So at this point the only way I can explain people turning in items right at the start in fates is that they are trolls. Would be great if these fates had a minimum completion time of 5 minutes or longer just so this would stop.

so if there are 30 people at a fate, 20 are level 50 needing seals, 10 are level 48-49 needing xp, the 10 refuse to turn in items so that it lasts longer thus making the other 20 wait longer. Who is the troll now?

How is turning in items that the fate requested is being a troll. I bet you the same guy screaming at me for killing the Lambs lol guess what Im still going to turn in the items and kill the lambs just because I can and the game asks me too.

What does this have to do with anything?

There's plenty of reasons to not be in a fate party while doing a fate. Off the top of my head, You run into a fate while questing and decide to join in for a little exp. Or, maybe, you're in a dungeon queue.

Since you seem to be on the side of "everyone should get the best experience possible" you should be on the side of everyone, not just everyone in your fate group. :P

Wait, turning in items early is considered trolling? I've been doing it because I thought the whole point was to turn in the damn items.

I don't run with FATE groups or anything like that, I just get to the leve, get some of the items in question, turn them in, then go get some more. I never once thought about how 'fast' the leve ended, nor did I think I had to stand around waiting for other people to get with the program.

I do think that it might be wise for SE to implement a minimum run-time on the turn-in leves, but again that's on SE, not on the players. It's not on the player-base themselves to try to elongate the run-time for everyone just because it isn't designed that way. Right now those leves are working-as-intended and if "as-intended" can be ridiculously short, that's something you need to take up with Square, not start pointing fingers wildly at each other.

do you realize that NOT EVERYONE know the exp trick?
that's the intended system, you get the items, you hand them over, that's it
the fates didn't tell us to "get them as much as you can so you can yield more exp"
if you want people to do that, just explain it to them
