[suggestion] Saving Macro's on User account or locally

I have unfortunatly been plagued with motherboard issues recently, (having built a £1,500 PC just to run this game on full settings ), and have ended up formatting 3 times in as many months.

It is incredible irritating to have to rewrite my macro's every time I install the game.

Please please please make it so that macro's get saved onto your account, so that if you log in on someone elses PC, your macro's are there, if you format and reinstall, your macro's are there, if you log in on the PS3 when the game is release on that format, your macro's appear there also.

This small feature really cannot be difficult to implement, the amount of data that text char's take up is also minimal, and the impact on user experience from this small change, for me personally would be huge.

I agree, currently I play from home and work, and every day I have to package up my User folder (about 1mb nothing too bad) and mail it between the 2, as im always tweaking my macros.

Please make them storable server side

(also sorry to be an ass here, but I built a £900 PC 2 weeks ago and it runs on full settings perfectly, ner ner ner ner nerrrr)

I didn't know you could take data from the user folder, that would be useful, how do you do that?, which files are needed?

I built it for Battlefield 3 and some future proofing too ^^, 12gb of DDR3 ram is probably overkill for the next year or two

Ok, in My Documents (Open My Computer and click My Documents in the left panel, as windows seems to have like a million variants of this folder) you should see a folder called My Games. Go through the folders: My Games > Final Fantasy XIV and you should see a User folder. The file size for me is around 2mb at the moment.

Simply copy that and paste the user folder into any other install you have on other PC's in the same location, and it has all your UI setup, and macros saved too.
