So what do you do endgame

You have darklight gear and you have your relic weapon. What now? There's not really much to do. It gets very boring because everything is so static. There's no fun items and no fun stats. No point in doing dungeons anymore, all you'll receive is durability loss from trash. So do what? Coil? Why? For the same static gear again? Sure you might have fun with the boss fights but that's about it.

Level another class? Good luck not getting bored with 0 quests (props to those who have multiple 50s). Grinding fates may be fun for others but it's rather dull to me.

Level a crafting/gather class? For what reason? The things you make aren't going to be of much importance. So you sell some things and get money. What do you do with the money? There's nothing to spend it on. There's nothing fun in the market.

    So what do you do?

You form a Free Company, or join one, and teach and instruct those less fortunate than you. You run them through dungeons, help correct their mistakes, train them to be the next generation of endgamers. Because if you don't, and the next update brings more endgame content, you have no right to complain about newbies trying to do it and causing you to fail. If you aren't part of the solution, etc. etc.

    Or you quit.

You make your own way in the game. "Endgame" is but one aspect of the game in its current form.

What does that have anything to do with what I said.

It has to do with people who complain about nothing to do after maxing out their preferred job. They complain and moan about nothing to do, doing nothing to train the next generation of endgamers they will be running with, then we later hear them complaining about how people don't know what to do.

I'm pointing out the benefit of using that time to help others out and make sure that when you jump back into an endgame scene, you have skilled and knowledgeable players running with you.

Okay so you have skilled and knowledgeable players running with you, so what? You still have that same static endgame. You still have the issues listed. The only thing that's changed is you have company with you.

More endgame content is coming. You don't seem like the type to go out of their way to read, so I'll inform you that it's coming in future patches. 2.1 I believe. So there will be new endgame content. I'll structure this so you may be able to comprehend:

Finish 2.0 endgame, teach and train players so they too can clear 2.0 endgame, 2.1 endgame gets released, you now have people who are more skilled and knowledgeable to run it with you. Clear 2.1 endgame. Teach the next group of players 2.0 and 2.1 endgame. Now you have people who are skilled and knowledgeable to run the next set of endgame that is released. Contrary to popular belief, the entire game is not comprised of solely endgame.

But you seem like one of "those" people. The kind that ask for people's opinions just so you can argue with them. Read a book.

I help my friends/free company out. I collect minions and leveling my other classes to maximize my main job's effectiveness. I collect more philo, sell or use them for other darklight gears for another class I want to try out for fun. I also do some crafting for fun, cause in the future it be cheaper to repair and I can also meld and such.

I'm saving my money for housing in the future. I heard it was going to cost a lot. But that's just me, you should know, most MMORPG are like this at some point.

Coil of Bahamut drops i90 gear. You basically farm that once a week. Once you have all that gear, which WILL take time, you can go on one of the other 8 jobs, and then gear that one up for 3 months.

There is basically an infinite amount of things to do, if you already have relic+1 on every job, every primal weapon for every class, every crafting/gathering class @50 with full HQ gear.

This game is the opposite of linear.
