    Anima isn't going to be the only form of transportation, so I don't see the reasoning behind quests to replenish anima.

    I could see them adding quests to temporarily increase anima regeneration, or increase the amount of anima a person can hold. like 125 or 150 at max.

    you must really abuse your anima if you're wanting quests to recharge it =p Just imagine when the cost was higher and charge was slower hehe

    I don't think I ever got below 75. But I have played with people and read comment about players that are in continuous anima shortage.

    Point was that it could make you feel like you achieve something that serves you instead of just waiting for animas to replenish automatically with time.

    I made an earlier thread about this, and from the replies I have received. The transportation system is being worked on, so we don't know for sure if this will be suitable if airships and chocobos will be around

    Agreed and that's why it would need balancing. For example you could limit the amount of animas you could buy per hour, or limit the destinations you could reach with bought animas, for example, only cities + favored locations.

    Also, creating a consistent gils sink like teleportation would actually slow down the increasing "uselessness" of gils

    Regardless there will always be a need for teleportation, maybe less than now I agree.

    My point was not exclusively that anima are insufficient so we need other options to replenish them. It was also that I thought that it could be a good idea to implement content around the ability to teleport since it is a core aspect of gameplay.
