How? I turn in gear for seals then I turn around and use those seals for gear for my other characters or I use it for EXP boost for crafting and gathering. You'd be a dick to deny me the opportunity to get seals from a dungeon that doesn't normally grant seals.

And you'd be the dick that denies the other group members the same opportunity to do so, because they can't roll need, but you can. That's the point. If that's what you want it for, the fair thing is to greed with everyone else.
