Related: I am placing most of the items I made into Market. I am keeping anything that is better than my character's field gear and battle gear.

After making a list of the prices charged by Vendors for cloth gear, I priced anything that I made that could be bought from a Vendor at 15% less than the Vendor price. Most of these items sold the same day that they were listed. This means that I am making a small profit, even after factoring in travel costs, and the cost of items that my character had to buy.

Some items can't be sold in the Market because the dumpers have ruined that item's price. Why? Lazy people are selling stuff for 1-gil that can be sold to a Vendor for the same amount. When you take into consideration that each Market transaction has a City tax, these low-information players are losing money. <ROFL>

No, I am not going to buy the cheap items for resale. Went broke once, years ago, trying that strategy.
