A community worse than WOW's?

This is what happens when you take nerf/fix the "Farming" Dungeon and make the Beginner/Story Dungeon the best way to farm Tombstones

I think this is unfair to blame on the community. SE is the one that designed a 2.0 endgame that relies solely on 2 dungeon runs to gear up for BCoB. Most of us have ran these things dozens of times, sorry if we don't want to spend a second more than is necessary.

this also happened to me today.
I was so happy that i finally got lvl 50, and then i go finish the story line.
On the 1st dungeon was a bit weird, they waited for me on every boss except the last one -.-
(and the wait was really just on the bosses, i missed most of the mobs)
It didint feel good for me,
but its ok, cause i know that dungeon is the best one to farm tomes.
And duo to the silly community to only want to make parties for HMs(specially Titan) with people having full darklight set.... players have no choice but to do very monotonous speed runs on that dungeon..

Then on following and last dungeon of the story, it didint go so well..
Yes the cutscenes are big.. but they are important..from what i noticed, all the stuff that happens there needs the immersion of the cutscenes to work out.
They never waited and made me miss 2 bosses, and when appeared the message saying i was about to miss the 3rd one... i raged quit right away..
the feeling of playing a game near its end story for then to not be able to fight the end bosses...

I really cant understand why they are doing speed runs on the last dungeon and ruining the game for the rest of the players..
and yes, i know that in part is SE fault, cause the way that dungeon is designed, it should never promote speed runs by rewarding tomes at end..

The runs aren't that fast you still have to fight and use cannons and what not. My first time through on whm I didnt do anything lol. everything was dead before i got out of the cs. It wasnt till I started farming on my brd that I actually got to see the place. Speeding through and AoE spamming is fun.
Those CS are amongst the best in the game. Worth watching the first time even if your group whines. Doesnt bother me either way I just like killing stuff.

People who use the Duty Finder need to be ready to deal with cutscenes.

If you want a speedrun, make a premade group. Don't screw the game up for new players trying to experience the story.

Worst-case? Watch the cutscenes. Sit back and let everyone finish the dungeon for you while you watch the cutscenes. It's not your problem if people don't wait for you.

I'm not quite there yet, but I figure I'll just skip and watch in the Inn later, not worth the headaches of watching while doing the instance. It's not as fun that way, but wth.

I typically queue with 6-8 people. So sometimes we get CS watcher in our random slot. At this point most of my group is farming Darklight for second jobs so yeah we want to blow through the dungeon. But we always let the folks watch the cutscenes,its simply not fair to ask us to stop killing stuff while you watch. After all needs of the many over the needs of the few and all that. But yeah watch the cutscenes by all means. You don't lose anything by not participating in the trash/bosses.

Honestly, people that Que for Duty Finder for CM/Prae and then complain about people watching cutscenes is like.. is like..

Is like jumping out of a boat in the middle of the ocean and complaining you got wet.

Honestly, if you want fast CM runs for your welfare philo tomes, make a premade party and que for CM/Prae. If you solo que for CM/Prae, expect to be waiting on cutscenes.

Unfortunately SE screwed up and made CM the only way for low geared 50 to get better ge4ar in an efficient way. You can do a SR in 25 mins and get 100 tokens. If you have a little better gear you can do AK in 40 mins for 80 token and 40 myth tokens. Once you have 300 Myth tokens you go back to CM. It is unfortunate as the cutscenes really do not take that long. In out runs if we have to pug someone in the DF we let them watch and just kill trash up to boss and then wait for the person at the bosses. If you DF for CM you need to let people watch the cut scenes. There are more than enough CMSR groups spamming on Mor Dhona that you do not need to DF CMSR.

This annoys me to no end. If you queue for DF you should wait for them at bosses at least. YOU went to DF, when you can very easily just spam on your own server for groups, there is never a shortage of people waiting to go.
