Server transfers are not until oct? not mid sept and right when our free time is up?

Wow so instead of having the server transfers at mid sept we now get them early october going by this interview http://gamerescape.com/2013/09/20/tg...h-translation/ , Does anyone else seem this is a tad too convenient for SE? I mean server transfers just as the free time is up for the ones that bought the game. So those of us that were waiting to try out the game with our friends and start really grinding down on the FC and questing will have to pay for another month just to experience this? I'm not sure why them not wasting resources for people who aren't going to stay around is a bad idea?

Could also have been a result of people realizing that the server transfers are likely not going to be finicky (that is, exclude 1.0 players) and threw fits at Square to have it delayed, like how they threw fits at the free server transfers that were available to 1.0 players over the Beta.

Maybe more people would stay if they could play with friends and family? I had 3 people checking almost every hour just to get onto my server to play with me and my boyfriend. Is it so bad that people want to experience a game with friends instead of soloing through it? The fact of the matter is, is that SE originally stated it would be in September, after all the log-in problems people were probably looking forward to at least getting the chance to test the game out with friends. However, now it's pushed back to October. I don't see why people like you even post o-o it just makes you look like a loner or someone with no irl friends who play games...

This really bums me out. Most of my friends are on other servers thanks completely to the disaster that was 100% Square's fault. We have been looking forward to the transfers since week one. The next slap will be when they tell us it 25$ per character. Normally I wouldn't mind this but given the circumstances this really should be free. I was already on Hyperion and none of them could make characters on my server, or even on other servers together because the launch was so screwed up.

It may not be a concern for you, but for many like me, I bought this game for me and my boyfriend, if we were separated because the servers went allowing more characters, why would I have bought the game for the both of us? It seems silly, that you try to say because worlds are full that it's not a concern, maybe for you, some of those people are probably toughing out the payment to still try to play with friends, the monthly payments aren't that much money. For some people it's more important to be in a group with their friends then to play a game alone.

*Edit* On top of that, who is paying right now? New people to the community should still be under the free 30 days and the extra 7 days, legacy players may be paying. but not most of the new customers...

I also never said it's not a concern to me. If people truly wouldn't play this game because they can't play with some people, there's many more who aren't in that situation is what I'm saying.

The thing is, SE already said from the get go transfers would be happening shortly after release (it's barely been 4 weeks) and even later for those on legacy worlds and this game is a P2P game, so I don't see why any of this comes as a surprise.
