<t> heal macros healing self when enemy targeted

<t> heal macros healing self while enemy is targeted
I like to do a lot of mouse over healing when doing random stuff and fates. As of right now the only way to do this effectively is to have nothing targeted. I'd like to be able to have a boss mob or dungeon trash targeted and not heal myself when I cast a heal without a mouse over target. Healing myself when I should have healed the person I was trying to mouse over, but missed, is not a good thing. When i remove the /ac "" <t> line it doesn't heal anything but mouse over targets. If i just remove the <t> it still heals me, which is what I would expect. The macro shouldn't be healing me without the <me> tag or a plain /ac "".

/ac "" <t> means heal target, not heal me. If there is no target or an invalid target it shouldn't do anything. Even if this was coded in it is redundant and limits flexibility.

Working the way it should. Even without the macro whenever you use a healing spell while targeting an enemy, you heal yourself.

They have some other really nice macro help there.

I'm aware of how heals function with and without macros. I touched on everything you posted in my post.

It might be working as intended, but it's far from working the way it should. A change to the <t> modifier to heal targets only does not get rid of the self heal option. There are other ways to make the macro heal self when enemies are targeted (with the <me> modifier, or with no modifier; 'no modifier' does what <t> does at the moment), but I can't find a way way to stop it. It is redundant and unnecessary to have <t> heal yourself. If I'm missing something, feel free to point it out.

Just an <mo> line will not heal targets for obvious reasons. If I put a <t> modifier line in to heal my targets, then it will heal self when I have an enemy targeted. If I can heal self when I'm trying to mouse over names or physical avatars then I have no idea where my heal is going until it finishes casting. I don't what to heal with uncertainty.

I'm not posting this for someone to tell me to make two hotkeys. I already have a second hotkey to heal self. I don't need to heal self in my heal others macro.

Edit: I posted this here to draw attention to it. I also posted it in the user interface section, but I don't know if anything posted there actually gets addressed.

    Very little does.
Seems I misunderstood you. What you're asking is for SE to implement a check feature for <t> whereas if <t> = enemy /action Cure (on self) does not activate but if <t> is anything else /action Cure works. Are there games that actually do something like that? <t> would then have to be edited to check and block certain actions on everything targetable. In town selecting any NPC and casting cure reflects it onto self.

    Imho, it's working as intended.

As said - work as intended and hopefully will NOT get changed. The only viable solutions to this would be introducing a new < > tag not to mess with tons of macros and players used to the current functionality out there ...
