About us:

Vivus was formed in 2009 in World of Warcraft when a handful of players from across some of the top EU guilds (including Nihilum pre-merge) decided to form a small guild with the simple goal of competing for #1 on which ever server and in whichever game they played.

Recruiting for Vivus

As a guild we have always set standards high for our roster, we choose to raid the bare minimum required to clear content and as a result expect our members to always be punctual, prepared and skilled enough to ensure that content is enjoyed and tackled efficiently as a team.

Our current roster has yet to be determined, with players joining us who have raided together for the past 4 years we are also looking to add new faces to the team here on Cerberus.

- Raid times to be determined once the roster is complete (we will be looking at Tue/Wed nites 20:00 to 23:00-00:00 GMT with extensions available)

- Player Base - We recruit a UK based player base however we do also accept exceptional applications from non UK residents who are fluent in English and meet our requirements.

- Roles - We're currently looking to take on 1 of each class however we ask that players have the flexibility to fulfill multiple roles in order to better guarantee a raid spot, we feel that switching a player to a different role is preferable to switching the player out for another.

- End game raid experience is preferable however with FFXIV being in its infancy we understand that people may be entirely new to raid content and welcome applications from new players as well as veterans.

- PS£/PC users - we do not mind which pla tform you play as long as you can fulfill your role and are able to communicate via team speak/raid call during raids - vocal players are a must.

Role Details/Requirements:

Gear is not an issue as we can rectify this as a team, what is required of our members is the flexibility and understanding of efficient cross class builds. As a result we ideally want all of our Tanks to have both jobs available and the same for our healers with DPS offering up either a second full DPS build or the ability to switch to heal/tank.

It's simply not enough to roll one class in FFXIV if you want to be a part of a small, tight roster and the glaring weaknesses shown in single job builds is something you need to be aware of - Cross class skills cant be stressed enough (for example almost all DPS can use raging strikes 20% damage buff from ranger)

Hey, I'd like to apply for your team as a Dragoon. I'm currently in a mix of AK and DL gear and have will have my relic +1'd this week coming.

I have some experience in large parties as I used to raid on WoW for about a year during Cataclysm and killed a fair few heroic bosses as a Paladin Offtank.

I'm currently leveling up Warrior as a secondary class but am really looking to stay primarily as a DPS.

Experience: Raided with a hardcore raiding guild all through Burning Crusade, cleared all content from Kara to Sunwell before nerfs. Raided woltk in friends 10 man raided guidl cleared all content up to and finishing icecrown cidatel. Played Competitive Hon for 3 years

Class : DRG 50 Relic+1/70% Dark light gear, although im power leveling a bard atm which i am more then happy to switch to to make a better raid comp

Guild really seems like a good fit for me, will be nice to play with players from the UK and clear the content without wasting to many days on it.
