Says a shout can be heard as far as 180'...how much distance that is in yalms (which is one square on the map?) or in relation to in-game distance, I have no clue.
May be someone can clarify this.

You can try by getting a friend and doing it yourself and just /sh test lol maybe do it in a city that no one in first.
