Unable to buy Chocobo License

Hello - I am a returning player that transferred their character over from 1.0. As I understand I am to redo the main story quest line which is fine. My only issue is I am unable to get a chocobo license as the quest for the chocobo was never given to me. I picked a Grand Company and I am now just finished with the Titan part of the main story line (lvl34). I have looked under every menu and even talked to the guy who gives the quest with still no luck. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or I am indeed bugged.

If you are trying to find the same quest giver from beta he is not in the game. I was very confused about this myself. Have you spoken to the Grand company commander? I believe he gives the quest. The My Little Chocobo quest is not part of the main story. It is a side quest.

I have talked with the commander and there is no quest "My Little Chocobo" offered. I even looked under completed quests and it doesn't show there either.

Your first screenshot shows you looking through the items buyable as a Sergeant, but the issuance ticket would be under Private unless I'm horribly misremembering. Try looking there?

Did you by any chance complete the quest back in 1.0? If so, they for some reason will not let you redo the quest in 2.0. Check the Calamity NPC for your old chocobo whistle. As long as you have completed all of the 2.0 main storyline quests up to the point where a brand new player would normally get the chocobo quest, then you'll be able to use the whistle, which vanish and become your old chocobo mount. You can also look in your achievements to see if you were already credited with My Little Chocobo from 1.0.

It seems for some reason, that one particular quest is not re-offered. I would rather have just redone the quest, as the v1.0 chocobo will be wearing the barding of whichever Grand Company you had selected back in 1.0 (apparently this was intentional). I didn't even remember doing the quest or which GC I had chosen back then.
