Silly things you do

I'm seriously wearing that level 31 crafting outfit that makes you look like a flight attendant from the Twin Adder people.

I let my character sit down on the inn's bed and AFK for about 10 mins... Then, call my retainer to stare at her for another 5 mins and send her off without doing any retainer task...

I do this in every MMO I play. Usually when I am at max level. I will run around in a big circle in the main city while I think of something to do. Back in SWTOR I still believe I hold the record for most laps in the Imperial space station. I am guilty of doing something similar here. Though most cities are instanced so I just run to the edge of the instance.

Whenever I'm doing a lot of crafting at once, I try and find odd places to do it at. Recently, it's been on the roof above the mender in Quarrymill.

I'm also guilty of the jumping down from great heights thing...I'm a Dragoon. I like to Jump around ^_^

oh so many... but main one i do..
every time i log out, i need to find a place to sit my character, no the floor a place to sit her.. one time actually run to another sanctuary, bc i could find a resting comfy place.. lol
at 1st it started as just cute places to sit, now it has to be proper places to sit.. lol

Although I really shouldn't, for laughs I often jump up on the lamp post near the aetheryte in New Gridania - getting to the top sign is tricky but doable if you know how (which I was shown back in the Alpha).

Even funnier when I have my wind up Dalamud minion out (which seems to bug out if I'm standing in the right spot and hovers under me.

I've found myself following a player, getting very close, and then clicking on them, causing it to look like I'm breathing down their neck. I've yet to take a SS yet because they always run
Maybe I'll start a stalking SS collection..

What are some really silly things you do that has absolutely no benefit to you or your character, but you do it anyway?

Confession - I put my character in the closest thing I can find to bed clothing - Black Camise and Pantalettes - and put her into bed before exiting the game at the end of the day, usually around 10pm at night when I myself am going to bed also. Yes I know its stupid and silly, but I did the same to my Skyrim character. Realism is a big thing for me.

What are your silly things?

I also do that so the go to bed animation isn't him in armor.
I found a changing room with a working door next to a spa in game. I took my char into it and switched him into swimwear.
Vanity or "town gear" that is often lower level but entirely for looks.
I decided to fly an Ahriman mount to be among the Ahriman mobs at Haukke Manor.
I "place" Carbuncle next to my char when in /sit mode while waiting. I am obsessive about no leaving him just standing there.
Parcour: I try to climb any surface that normally would not be climb-able in an mmo like the extremely high up steel pipes at the Cerulean Processing Plant camp area.
One more thing, I like to /dance him next to any npc's who are dancing on stages and /stretch next to npc soldiers doing work out drills.
Gods, the list is long of completely pointless stuff I do but it entertains me, so I guess that is not entirely pointless. Oh and minions....just minions.
