A Relic Reborn quest reset

I was in a Titan group a little while ago. After a few wipes the group abandoned and my Relic Reborn quest wasn't showing up. I wasn't paying attention to it so I honestly don't know when it stopped showing up. I just noticed after the fight. I thought maybe it glitched and made it seem like I defeated him so I went back to Gerolt only to find out that I had to pick up the Relic Reborn quest and start all over again. Has anyone else had this issue and am I just screwed cause getting the pre req weapon crafted and melded pretty much blew most of my gil and that's pretty upsetting if I have to start over.

If you picked up the quest again then..
Maybe you could report this and ask for a character rollback? Although who knows how long that will take.

Just wondering, since I see you have a few level 50 classes... Did you happen to start it with another class at some point?

Not at all. I only started it with my Bard. I wonder if it is possible that my character change could have affected it. I doubt it, but I did change my race.
