I am getting terrible lag and got error 90000 a few times this evening, been pretty bad since the last maintenance.... I'm eu Netherlands![]()
Same as this. I really can't do anything. I'm giving one month's subscription just to give it a chance, but if it continues through that then I may have to make an unfortunate decision. No point paying for something that can't be played. Which is a shame, because I adore this game. It just seems over the last month everything's gotten steadily worse, and starting recently I've joined the "90000 disconnect every few minutes and / or crippling lag" crew. My support ticket is taking an age to get back to me too, though I doubt that will solve anything.
both my girl friend and I encounter this problem, but not consistently.
one day one of us might receive constant 90000s, while the others session works completely fine
the other day another of us would receive constant 90000s, while this one have no connection problem
So I am really puzzled about the real cause of this issue.
To me it feels more like a server capacity issue i.e. as long as you logged in before the server reaches its 'capacity' to handle the traffic, you're fine, but if you come in later than this point, you're doomed for periodic 90000s
which kinda make sense given SE's attitude since launch - they won't do much if they fully utilized their capacity, because there is 'nothing more they can do' at that given moment -
I think many of us believe that FF14 is currently seriously understaffed given the fact the game turns out to be way more popular than they anticipated.
we might need to open a thread to demand for them to increase their staffing to meet the demand and maintaining the service quality

I am NOT subscribing to Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn if these issues persist. Many others will be doing the exact same thing and NOT subscribing monthly.
I really wish I hadn't paid for 90 days already. If I could take it back and forget this game till it gets fixed I would. Oh well : /

I'm hitting pretty consistent lag spikes since the maintenance done last night/this morning (10-1-2013). Never experienced anything like this before
